Seamless transition

Sometimes a designer needs a more wide appearence and sometimes the space is limited. The typeface delivers a flexible letterwidth to find the perfect width for the project. It is also possible to combine or mix different widths for emphazising specific areas. With the help of the variable font techique, the letterwidth can be adjusted seamlessly.

Adjustable Optical Size

On top of the the traditional width axis, Cyclops has an optical size axis. We optimized the top range of the optical size axis for use in big sizes with tight spacing and maximum weight, whilst the other end of the optical size axis, called tiny, is optimized for smaller sizes. The spacing is wider to avoid the letter from melting together in small sizes and the countershapes are opened up to prevent the letters from becoming to bold. With this additional option Cyclops can also be used in smaller sizes, screens and side infos.

Tabular Figures
